PLEASE NOTE: This event IS NOT an official MSARS event, and will therefore not be covered by RSGB public liability insurance, and you therefore attend at your own risk. The station (GB6DGK) will be run privately by club member Berni M0XYF in memory of Gavin Keegan G6DGK.

Not sure where I'll be set up exactly, but I'm hoping to get agreement to use the spot right outside the railway engineering workshops once again. However if that doesn't work out, or if it's raining cats & dogs, I may try and claim squatters rights over the white wooden shelter by the tennis courts.

If you fancy joining me in person or on-air, then you are more than welcome. This year I'll be using the SES callsign GB6DGK to celebrate the life of Gavin, who sadly passed away whilst we were running the ROTA station last year. I'll probably camp-out on or about the stated event frequencies of 7.15MHz and 14.25MHz. Of course I'll probably have a play on 7.074 and 14.074 too, especially if the bands are poor.

I won't be seriously trying to fill up the logbook, but I'll be having a bit of fun from 11:00am 'till 3:00pm.
