PLEASE NOTE: This IS NOT an official MSARS event. The station (GB6DGK) will be run privately by club member Berni M0XYF in memory of Gavin Keegan G6DGK.

I'll be activating Newhaven Breakwater Lighthouse (UK0190) from the public car park (at the lighthouse end, on the western side of the river Ouse) and will probably be using a modest portable or even mobile antenna.

If you fancy joining me in person or on-air, then you are more than welcome. This year I'll be using the SES callsign GB6DGK to celebrate the life of Gavin, who sadly passed away last year. I'll probably be operating on 40m and 17m, but if it's pants on single sideband, I'll possibly have a play on FT8/FT4, especially if the bands are really poor. I may post something on the cluster.

After checking, this location is sadly too far away (more than 100 feet) from the King Charles III England Coastal Path, and therefore not a POTA entitiy.

I'll be having a bit of fun from roughly 11:00am 'till 3:00pm. I don't take these things too seriously. It's just a relaxing day out at the seaside!
