We are a group of local radio amateurs who normally meet at 7.30pm every 2nd and 4th Friday of the month at Cyprus Hall in Burgess Hill, West Sussex where we have a fully equipped high-tech radio shack allowing communications worldwide.
Why not come along and investigate either the established aspects of our hobby or the huge array of new technologies taking our activities to the leading edge of radio development. You will be amazed at the range of technical possibilities for you to explore as an unlicenced individual or the many additional capabilities afforded by passing the straightforward RSGB 'Foundation' exam.
Whilst we no longer run training courses on-site, we have several members who would be only too pleased to help you informally with your preparation for the test, or just to show you some practical aspects of the hobby, as we understand that it can all seem a bit daunting to the newcomer. We've all been there, and there is no better way to get started than to join your local club.
So whether you are new to amateur radio or an old hand, if you would like to know more about our society, then you can either use our CONTACT form, or you can check our CALENDAR to see when we are next meeting, and simply drop in for a chat. All are welcome. We are a friendly and approachable bunch, so please just come along and introduce yourself.
