MSARS now has an additional email mailing list manager. It can do pretty much whatever groups.io can do, but it only contains current member's email addresses and all the functionality outside of a simple email distribution list has been turned off for now. If we find a use, we may enable other functionality over time. We have mainly implemented this to improve email deliverability and management.
The society will sometimes use this facility to contact members alongside the current 'direct' methods as per our privacy policy, so don't be surprised to see the occasional email from a midsussexars.org.uk address.
The society has no interest in spamming you, and we will of course use it respectfully. This list is stored and maintained on our own domain hosting package, and uses the Mailman application.
