As I mentioned last month, I had a problem with the linear amp' where the switch for the SWR meter had become unlatched. A quick click and hey presto all returned to normal.
A quick test on 15 metres bought in VK4NBX, so it still works.
On the 5th I managed to contact 8P6PE on Barbados and BA7OMA in China. Following this I managed a string of US stations that bought up my US counties score to 1080, out of the total of 3077.
As of this month I have worked all of CT, DE, RI, and I only need 2 for MA, 3 for ME, 1 for NH, 3 for NJ and 3 for VT. What is a surprise is the number that I have worked in the Pacific seaboard.
On the 12th I managed to work Guatemala, Grenada and Mexico.
On the 17th (also to my surprise) I worked VK9DX Norfolk Isl' off the Australian coast. Then the other way to PJ6Y in the Atlantic, then VA7JH on OC-036 in the Pacific. On the 22nd I managed a ATNO 5K0UA in the Caribbean closely followed by 6O3T in Somalia. The month came to a close with C5Y in the Gambia.
So now I have hit my annual target of 200 DXCCs. If anyone out there can think of a target for 2026, I'll try and prepare myself and my log book (No 23)
As I write this I am reminded of all the hams on Jamaica, so here is a card from a couple of years back.

Good DXing
